Men Walking and Talking were invited to sign the Armed Forces Covenant at RAF Shawbury so Hereford Walk Leader and Director, Ashley Winter went along to represent us at this event.
“Today I had the privilege of signing the Armed Forces Covenant on behalf of Men Walking And Talking with Commandant of No 1 Flying Training School & Defence College of Air & Space Operations, Group Captain Andy Baron.
As a group we have members of the Armed Forces Community and thought it right to make it official, the covenant is a pledge to the nation that we treat our Armed Forces Community fairly, we commit to honour and support those in the community recognising the value of our Forces, both Regular and Reserve, Veterans and Families, something as mentioned we consistently do without question.
